The 3rd annual Terror Trail is back at Maple Crest Farm! Spooky season is here & if you love being scared out of your wits, then join us at Maple Crest Farm for one of the most terrifying walk-through experiences of the year!


You and your friends are walking through the woods when you realize you're in the wrong place at the wrong time and have stumbled upon a cult during their annual gathering to worship their deity, the demon Vahkor! Do you have what it takes to make it through the trail as they try to capture you and sacrifice you to their all-mighty god, or will you be Vahkor's next victim??

Each guest wishing to enter the trail must have a valid ticket.

Snacks & drinks will be available for an additional cost
throughout the night! Please note, our concessions table is cash only.

Take a photo with one of our ghoulish monsters at these select
time frames during the night! This is free and does not require a ticket to participate.

Gather around the fire and hear our Storyteller, Tony Toledo,

FAQs

  • Do you permit early entry?
    Since this is an all-volunteer produced event, we use every second we can to make sure the event is ready for our Guests, so we suggest you arrive right at 6:00pm or later.
  • How much are tickets?
    Tickets for the Terror Trail are $10.00 per person available both online and in-person on the day of! Please note: Online ticket purchases are subject to a processing fee.
  • Is parking free?
    Yes! However, since we are unable to anticipate total attendance for one specific time frame, parking may be limited at times. We ask that you try to carpool to and from the Farm with your group!
  • Can I pre-order tickets online?
    Yes! Above these FAQs and throughout our website, you can click on the "Buy Tickets" button to direct you to the online store. Please note: Online ticket purchases are subject to a processing fee. Online ticket sales will end on October 26, 2024 at 6:00pm and all tickets will be in-person only once the event begins.
  • Can I wait to purchase tickets on-site?
    Yes! You can purchase tickets in person on the day of the event. Please note that you may be subject to a wait if you choose to purchase your tickets on-site.
  • How many times can I go through the Terror Trail with 1 ticket?
    Guests may enter the Terror Trail as many times as they would like with the purchase of one ticket! Please note: Those who take advantage of this policy in order to continuously walk the trail to try to distract actors, damage property, or explore off the trail, will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund.
  • Is there onsite parking?
    Yes! We will have parking attendants directing you to the next available parking spot. If we run out of parking at Maple Crest Farm, the West Newbury Police Department will show you where you are able to park on the street.
  • Are there different prices for children?
    No. While we do allow children to enter the trail, it is not meant for them, so it is up to the parents' discretion on whether or not they will let them enter. Therefore, it is the same price for everyone entering the trail. We do offer free activities for those not entering the trail to take part in, such as Spooky Stories by the Fire and our Monster Photo-Op!
  • What payment methods do you accept for the Terror Trail?
    You can purchase tickets online with any credit or debit card! We also accept both cash and most major debit and credit cards for in-person ticket sales.
  • What are your concession options?
    Our concessions table will be PACKED with the best snacks, candy, and Fall treats! A full menu with pricing will be available at the concessions table on the night of the Terror Trail! Please note: Concessions are available while supplies last and more-popular items may run out quickly.
  • Is outside food allowed?
    While our concessions table is mostly candy and treats, we do ask that Guests try to eat any meals before arriving to the Terror Trail!
  • What payment methods do you accept for concessions?
    We typically only accept cash payments for concessions, however, we do have the ability to accept card payments for anyone needing that option. We suggest that each person come to the Terror Trail prepared with at least $10.00 in cash in case they would like to purchase any concessions!
  • Is this a child-friendly event?
    Yes and no. While we do allow children onto the property, the trail is meant to scare you. If they do not wish to be scared, we do have a concession stand as well as a less-scary spooky stories event happening by the fire starting at 6:30pm and a photo-op opportunity with a friendly-ish ghoul.
  • What kind of effects are used in the Terror Trail?
    The Terror Trail will include fog, sound, and lighting effects, as well as loud spooky music pumping throughout the entire trail!
  • Is there a dress code for the Terror Trail?
    Yes! We ask that Guests arrive to the Terror Trail prepared to walk through the dark woods on a cold night! This includes: Sneakers/close-toed shoes NO flip-flops or sandals - there will be rocks, roots, and uneven ground throughout the trail. Pants that extend past the shin NO shorts - it will be cold and there may be long grass/poison ivy throughout the trail. Coat/Jacket/Sweater NO short-sleeve t-shirts as your only layer - the temperature will be in the 40s! Hats/Gloves/Ear Muffs/etc. It will be very cold, so we suggest bringing accessories that will help keep you warm! Please note: The Pentucket Arts Foundation & Maple Crest Farm are not responsible for any injuries sustained to Guests who decide to ignore this dress code.
  • Will the actors touch me?
    No! And you should not touch them! We are in constant communication with our actors throughout the night and if we are alerted to any harassment by you or anyone in your party, you and your group will be escorted off of the property.
  • Are there any other activities apart from the trail?
    Yes! In addition to our concessions table and covered seating area, we will be presenting Spooky Stories by the Fire with Storyteller, Tony Toledo! Our Spooky Stories will include a 15-minute story session every 30 minutes starting at 6:30pm! Spooky Stories by the Fire - Start Times 6:30pm • 7:00pm • 7:30pm • 8:00pm • 8:30pm We will also be introducing, new this year, Monster Photo-Ops. Take a picture with our ghoulish monsters throughout the night. Photo-Ops will last 15-minutes every 30 minutes starting at 6:15pm! Monster Photo-Op - Start Times 6:15pm • 6:45pm • 7:15pm • 7:45pm • 8:15pm
